Woodford Station is a band that plays mostly blues-based songs, but
touches on gospel, country, rock, rhythm and blues, and jazz. They
stress vocals over long instrumental solos.
Norm McIntyre (lead guitar and vocals) has been
performing and touring since the ’80’s. Winner of Guitar
Center’s 1995 Best Original Band competition with the
Harvengers and in 2019 Click-On Detroit’s Best Blues
Band with Alexandria N-Transit.
Dave Marcaccio (drums) His attention to the groove has
made him a current favorite of many great Detroit-based
artists and groups including R&B Blues artist Thornetta
Davis, Joseph and The Velozians, Mystery Train with
guitarist Jim McCarty, LL7 Latin Jazz, The Kathleen
Murray Band, and The Groove Council.
Leonardo (slide/rhythm guitar, vocals, and drums) has
been performing solo, acoustic country blues in the Detroit area for 20 years and is endorsed by the National Reso-Phonic Guitar Company.
Wayne Wilkins (bass and vocals) comes from a musical
family and has been playing bass for over 25 years. In
addition to performing with the band, he is Woodford
Station’s recording engineer and producer.
